Conference Registration Fees

Register by 30 April, 2008 to save 15% on the Conference Registration Fee

Conference delegate fee for registrations received before 30 April, 2008:
Student fee for registrations received before 30 April, 2008 *:

 

€545 + VAT @ 16% = €632.20
€395 + VAT @ 16% = €458.20
Conference delegate fee for registrations received after 30 April, 2008:
Student fee for registrations received after 30 April, 2008*: 		€640 + VAT @ 16% = €742.40
€465 + VAT @ 16% = €539.40

(*Student rate applies for registered undergraduate students and those studying full time towards a post-graduate degree. This rate is not applicable to post doctoral students or employed researchers. Student registrations must be accompanied by a signed letter from your head of department attesting to student status.)

The registration fee includes:

  • Abstract book
  • Special issue of Engineering Failure Analysis to be published after the conference and mailed to delegates in early 2009
  • Mid session coffee/tea breaks
  • Lunch on each day of the conference
  • Poster session & Drinks

Payment

Registration fees are payable in advance of the Conference. In order to expedite the registration process, please complete the registration form with your credit card details. Confirmation of your credit card payment along with registration confirmation documents will be sent to you by mail. If you do not receive confirmation of your registration 7 days prior to the event, please contact the Conference Secretariat.

Alternative payment methods

Checks should be made payable to Elsevier Ltd. and should be sent with your completed registration form. In order to pay by bank transfer, you will first require an invoice. An invoice will be sent to you by airmail upon receipt of a signed registration form completed with your contact details and registration details. The reverse side of the invoice provides Elsevier bank account details for transfer purposes. Please do not transfer fees until you have received your invoice. It is essential that you include your invoice number when instructing your bank. Please forward a copy of the bank transfer documentation to the Conference Secretariat.

Cancellations

Substitutions may be made at any time but please advise the Conference Secretariat of a change of name. If you find it necessary to cancel the registration completely, please notify the Conference Secretariat immediately in writing. Provided written notice is received by May 23, 2008, a full refund will be given less a 10% administration charge. Provided written notice is received by June 13, 2008 a 50% refund will be given. It is regretted for registrations cancelled after June 13, 2008, or for no-shows at the Conference, the full fee (100% cancellation charge) will be payable.

In the unlikely event that Elsevier shall deem it necessary to cancel the Conference, all pre-paid registration fees will be reimbursed. Elsevier shall not be liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation arrangements made by individual delegates.

Changes

Details are correct at the time of going to print. Elsevier reserves the right to change any session in the final program.
